Our story

Built by an SDR.
For SDRs.

PitchIQ exists because the tool we needed didn't. So we built it.

The problem was
personal.

"I was an SDR. I sat at my desk every morning with a call list, a script, and absolutely no good way to practise before I dialled."

Every SDR knows the feeling. You're new. You're nervous. You have a list of real prospects real people at real companies and the only way to get better is to practise on them. Burn a lead. Learn something. Repeat.

There was no flight simulator. No practice court. Just a phone, a prayer, and the knowledge that every bad call was a wasted opportunity that somebody worked hard to generate.

I tried using ChatGPT to roleplay objections. It worked, sort of. But it had no memory of how I sold, no scoring, no progression, and the objections felt completely American. The "prospects" didn't push back the way Australian buyers do. They didn't say "yeah look, just send me an email" or "we're pretty flat out at the moment." The whole thing felt off.

I spoke to other Australian SDRs. Every single one described the same problem. The solution was always the same too "just get on the phone and figure it out." Sink or swim. Learn on real leads or don't learn at all.

And every tool that existed was built in America, for American sales culture, with American buyer personas. Nobody had built something for the way we actually sell here.

That's not good enough. So I quit my job and decided to build it myself.

PitchIQ is what I wished existed on my first day as an SDR. A voice AI that sounds like a real Australian prospect. Coaching that learns how you specifically sell. Honest scores that actually mean something. And the ability to practise until you're ready without burning a single real lead.

What we believe

Our values aren't
on a wall somewhere.

They're in every feature we build and every coaching tip we write.

Honesty

Honest feedback over false confidence

A 44/100 means you have real work to do. We'll never inflate your score to make you feel good for five minutes. Real improvement requires real honesty.

Local first

Australian buyers are different. Your training should be too.

Direct, no-nonsense, allergic to corporate waffle. Australian buyers have their own style and so do Australian sellers. PitchIQ is built around that reality, not imported from somewhere else.

Simplicity

Ten minutes a day beats a two-hour training once a month

We design for daily habit, not one-off use. Consistent short practice builds real muscle memory. That's what actually makes you better on calls.

Respect

SDRs are professionals, not just headcount

The sales industry often treats SDRs as replaceable. We think they're the most important people in any revenue team and they deserve world-class tools.

How we got here

The journey.

Early 2026

The idea hits

After months as an SDR at a B2B fintech company, the frustration of having no good way to practise becomes impossible to ignore. The research begins.

April 2026

Validation

Dozens of conversations with SDRs and sales managers across Australia confirm the problem is universal. Nobody has a good solution. The gap is real.

April 2026

First prototype

After weeks of building and testing, a working voice AI cold call simulation comes to life. The first test call feels startlingly real. The technology is more ready than expected.
